Since 1977, SafeNest has been on the front lines of the movement to end domestic abuse in Southern Nevada. As the leading domestic violence shelter in Clark County, SafeNest offers more than just emergency housing — it provides a full spectrum of support, from prevention and protection to long-term empowerment. Help Is Always Available
Our 24/7 Domestic Violence Hotline is staffed by trained, trauma-informed advocates who provide immediate help for individuals navigating abuse. Whether you need safety planning, connection to an emergency shelter, or simply someone to talk to, we’re here for you — day or night. Bilingual support (English/Spanish) ensures we reach as many survivors as possible in their preferred language.

Domestic Violence Shelter & Resource Center
Our mission is to provide safe shelter and resources to homeless and abused women and women with children in crisis; as well as offer life-changing services that promotes stability, dignity, and self-reliance.
The Shade Tree, a 24-hour accessible shelter designed to specifically meet the needs of women and children in crisis, is partnering with Protective Force International (PFI) to provide safety and security resources and training measures for its residents and staff. Locally operated and headquartered in Las Vegas, PFI is a full-service security company created to serve individuals and organizations by offering customized training courses, consulting, unarmed and armed security officers, mobile patrol and more.
The partnership with The Shade Tree includes ongoing training and certification for the shelter’s security staff, regular patrols of the property by PFI’s qualified K9 security officers, self-defense training for shelter staff and residents and more.
